  • While sessions are covered by most insurance companies. It’s client’s responsibility to check their insurance policy for coverage. My title can be described as, Clinical Counsellor (excluding Ontario), Counselling Therapist, Counsellor, or Psychotherapist (excluding Ontario).

  • I have adopted an approach from most effective trauma healing modalities. My psychosomatic approach is based on nervous system regulation, Polyvagal, neuroscience and psychology. Primary approach in my practice is Compassionate Inquiry. Other approaches are, Internal Family System (IFS), Somatic Attachment therapy, Somatic experiencing , mindfulness, breathwork, and medicine wisdom. This is a holistic approach to integrate mind and body, using the body as a guide to access variety of tools and wisdom it has to offer.

  • “psychosomatic” comes from two Greek words. “Psyche” means mind, and “soma” means body. It’s all about understanding how our mental experiences, like past traumas or intense emotions, can show up as physical symptoms. Mind and body are not separated and in our sessions I help you find the link.

  • 55-minutes or 90-minutes sessions are available for booking.

  • The frequency of the sessions is depending on the client’s need, some people need more time between therapy sessions to integrate. Therefore I work with you to find a plan that serves you best. Recommended frequency is once a week to start, and evaluate as we journey together.
